Contact and Inquiry

• The best way to contact me is via email (furlanart@gmail.com) or as described in the commission journal. I prefer to avoid talking commissions over instant messenger.

• I generally do not accept correspondence via note unless technical difficulties prevent emails from getting through. This is to keep things in one easily-searchable place and streamline the process, as notes are extremely hard to manage and disorganized.

• I hold correspondence in English or Polish only.

• I prefer to not take any orders from empty/extremely new accounts to avoid risking serving blacklisted clients.

What I will and will not draw

Important notice: I reserve the right to decline any commission at any time if it upsets my sensitivity or lies outside of my comfort zone.

• fetishes I enjoy: watersports, bdsm, shibari, size difference, age difference (as long as it's legal), anal play, oral play, masturbation, glory holes, tentacles, orgies, threesomes and more

 

I will definitely not draw

• imitating another artist's style

• hate symbols, anything involving  a positive attitude towards nazis, racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia and otherwise offensive themes

• sexualized extreme violence or gore, extremely graphic vore

• vomit, coprophilia, scat, anal prolapse, bestiality, self harm

• inflation, hyper, extreme musculature (I enjoy bara)

• Adult diapers

• Pregnant characters in sexual scenes, birthing, unbirthing

• any other extreme fetish that may lie outside of my comfort zone (ask me if Your fetish isn't listed here)

I may decline a commission that contains

• sexualized transformation

• Rape (unwilling is a very grey area, so discuss this with me to make sure)

• violence, dismemberment, torture (ask me)

 

Prices & Payment

​

• All payment is via Paypal. You can make payments with most credit or debit cards via Paypal.

• Payment plans: Payment is to be made in full upfront, unless the order costs over 180€. For orders larger than that, I am willing to work out a payment plan with the commissioner. A down payment of at least 100€ must be made as a kind of advance to reserve the commission slot.
  The sketch of the commission can be delivered after 50% of the total payment has been done. I will not provide a finished product before the full payment has been made.

• A payment plan can take up to 3 months (exceptions to this rule are offered to regular customers)

• Pending payment: After receiving an invoice the client has 7 days to complete the payment. If the payment is not made within this time, the invoice will be taken back and the commission slot will be released. The next customer in the queue will take this slot.
  This is unless there is an emergency on the side of the client, of which they had informed me and we have come to an agreement and set a second deadline. If the customer doesn’t meet the second payment deadline, the commission slot will be released with no further possibility of renegotiation.

• Regarding e-check payments: I reserve the right not to start a commission until after the e-check has cleared. This usually takes 1-2 weeks. Please keep this in consideration when requesting a deadline.

• Regarding price ranges: Prices for the majority characters won't cost any more than the lowest price listed. Some things that may bump the price up, however, include but aren’t limited to:

  • wings

  • taur art

  • additional limbs, heads etc.

  • complex hairstyles or detailed clothing/accessories

  • mechanical parts

  • ocelot or leopard-type spots, or otherwise highly detailed markings.

Preferential treatment

​

There are certain cases in which a customer can expect preferential treatment when inquiring a commission. I list these cases below along with the treatment they can expect.

Patrons

• A Patron is defined as a person who support my work on Patreon for the minimal amounts monthly specified below.

• Patrons of tier 6$+ have a few days earlier access to all the YCH concepts I create and have this additional time to claim the YCH for themselves before the concept is posted publicly.

• Patrons of tier 15$+ have a few days earlier access to reserving regular commission slots, before I gather commission inquiries publicly. This offer does not cover all of the available commission slots - Patrons can reserve up to 50% of the available slots. If the number of Patrons applying for the slots is equal or lower than the number of slots available for this offer, all of the Patrons will be guaranteed to receive these slots. If the number of Patrons applying for the commission slots will be greater than the slots available for this offer, I will choose who to give the slots to. But it will make it more likely for the declined Patrons to receive the slots on the second commission batch.

• ​

Regular customers

• A regular customer is specified as a person, who has purchased at least 3 artworks from me, at least one of them being a full body pinup/scene or a YCH. An additional requirement is that there were no major problems (payment issues, lack of contact, hardships communicating)  while working with the customer and that the cooperation was satisfying for both sides.

• Regular customers are not required to make a 100€ advance payment or full upfront payment before receiving sketches for approval and wips. They will however still be required to make the full payment before receiving the finished artwork.

• Regular customers are more likely to receive a favorable payment plan that can be set for over 3 months if needed.

• Regular customers are more likely to receive priority over the rest of the applicants in my regular commission queue (this priority does not include YCH customers).

 

Cancellation & Refunds

• If the commissioner decides to cancel, I will issue a refund equivalent to the amount of work not done.

• I ask that if you need to cancel before sending information or payment, you let me know as soon as possible. Dropping communication instead of formally cancelling disrupts financial and time planning and is generally disrespectful. Please keep in mind that before money changes hands, there is no obligation-- I won’t hold cancellation against you or take it personally, as long as you keep me informed.

• If I am at the coloring stage of any type of commission, no refund is available.

• I reserve the right to cancel the commission and issue a refund equivalent to the amount of work not done due to harassment, improper conduct or poor communication.

• Poor communication includes not sending information/forms within a few days of claiming a slot (it’s best if you can get back to me within 24 hours or let me know if you anticipate barriers to this), not sending payment when agreed upon, and being generally unreachable/unresponsive in such cases. I’m pretty flexible and will probably issue reminders or warnings because life happens and things come up, but I reserve the right to blacklist the commissioner if this is a recurring issue.

• Blacklisted people will be denied any sort of commission and I will most likely not respond to their inquiries. I avoid blocking people, but if I feel harassed at any point I will do so.

• If I need to cancel the commission due to events in my own life, a full refund will be issued within an agreed upon time.

 

Process

​

• I reserve the right to interpret your character in my own style. This includes things like tweaking colors a bit and possibly adjusting markings to better fit the art language I use. In no case will I change things so much that the character is unrecognizable, and I will keep specifics like a certain number of spots or stripes the same.

• For most commissions I send over a sketch for approval at no extra charge. I accept one complete redo in sketch phase, and one round of minor edits after that. After it's colored, I'll take one round of small changes to the coloring to cover anything I might have missed, markings for example!

• Any additional sketch corrections when it comes to posing etc. will be charged for additionally at a rate of 15€-40€ per round minor sketch change (for ex. Changing the arm or legs positioning). I will charge more the more changes you decide to ask for. The limit of additional changes per one commission is 3. Afterwards you will need to decide between the sketches I already created or back out from the commission and receive a 40% refund of the base commission price (without the additional sketch edit fees).
  For any additional complete redo of the sketch I will charge for 70€ per character.

• After the linework and colors, I'll take one round of small changes to the coloring to cover anything I might have missed, markings for example!

• Changes beyond these are not available except for an additional charge.

• I do not offer preliminary sketches for smaller artwork (icons, badges) except at a $10 surcharge.

• I accept changes based on things that I have forgotten or missed, like markings or essential accessories. This comes at no extra fee as long as that information was included in the original reference sheet or description.

• Once the artwork is finished, I do not accept expression or pose changes. If you anticipate this problem, you may want to look into paying for an approval sketch or being very specific in your initial email.

• I very occasionally stream commissions. I am unable to guarantee when and if I will be able to stream your commission at all. If you’d like me to alert you when and if I do begin streaming your commission, let me know in advance and I’ll be sure to do so, but I’m unable to make promises or set specific appointments at this time.

• If you need resolutions larger than specified in the price list, they are available (up to 5000 x 5000) but may cost more if the increment is larger than about 500 pixels. Please be sure to mention any preferred aspect ratio you may have as well.

 

Turnaround

• Depending upon my schedule, health, workload and the complexity of the commission, turnaround may range from a few days to a few weeks. In the event that I’m unable to finish your commission within a month, I will email you an update containing the progress I have made and/or the date I plan to be able to finish your commission should you choose to proceed with it. More frequent inquiries as to the status of your commission are also welcome, within reason. Feel free to check in after a week, if you’d like!

• Priority and deadlines. You can request for Your commission to have priority over others at an additional cost of approximately 10% of the commission total value. If you need a picture finished by a certain deadline, please specify that in Your inquiry. I may decline taking on a commissions with a deadline shorter than two weeks. More time is always better, especially if the commission is a large one. I may accept rush orders for a turnaround of one week or less, but this is entirely at my own discretion and such orders may be subject to a surcharge, especially if they include moving Your order up in my working queue.

 

Rights & Distribution

• The prices described here are for personal commissions and as such, I the artist retain all copyright. Feel free to make icons or a personal print, but you may not use them for your own profit. This includes selling prints and merchandise with the artwork.

• You may post any art made for you to your page, crop it for an icon, and show it off wherever you like-- but please remember to give me credit and link back to my page.

• I reserve all rights to the artwork, including rights of distribution. If you want the artwork kept private indefinitely, I will do that for an additional charge of 10€ or 20% of the commission price, whichever is higher. This fee does not apply to commissions kept private only for a set amount of time, such as holiday or birthday gifts.

• If you wish to purchase all or certain rights to the piece, please contact me for pricing. These rates will be industry rates and as such usually significantly higher, depending on what the rights in question are.

• I reserve the right to decide if I want to submit Your commission to my main page or any other site I own.
